PC Development Pak

The OS-9 PC Development Pak provides a complete multitasking, multi-user environment for creating, debugging and executing real-time applications on desk-top, portable or industrial 386/486/ Pentium Processor PCs. This drop-in pack-age can serve as an OS-9 host or target for sophisticated industrial automation, instrumentation, telecommunications, data acquisition, networking, multimedia, and scientific applications.
The OS-9 PC Development Pak installs easily on standard 386/486/Pentium Processor systems providing a complete multi-user C/C++ language development environment. Users can take advantage of Microware¦s Ultra C/C++ advanced technology compiler, source level debugger and full-screen editor to create and debug real-time applications. If DOS is a system requirement, OS-9 supports concurrent execution of DOS tasks with its Virtual PC (VPC) system module.
OS-9 device drivers are included to support and maximize the performance of standard PC peripherals. A full-featured preemptive kernel and robust I/O system allow users to integrate additional functionality including industrial I/O, graphics, networking and high-capacity magnetic or optical storage devices.
The PC Development Pak contains the OS-9 Real-time Kernel, Virtual PC (VPC) DOS emulator, I/O Manager and file manager, math and CIO libraries, advancedshell and utilities, Ultra C/C++ Compiler, ANSI C Source Level Debugger, ROMbug symbolic debugger, uMacs screen editor, OS-9 manual set, and 90-day "Hotline" support.
